About
Olam Shalem | My Jerusalem My Connection
Olam Shalem was established in the purpose of strengthening the connection between Jewish children worldwide and Jerusalem.
Olam Shalem – from the Hebrew words olam, meaning “world,” and shalem, literally meaning “complete,” which is also one of the names of Jerusalem. This name reflects our primary focus – the connection between Jerusalem and the world.
A little bit about us
The Olam Shalem website is a web-based platform for teaching and learning. Lesson plans for elementary-school classes are available on the website. These lesson plans include: a detailed description of the lesson’s elements, a short animated film that incorporates background imagery of Jerusalem, and supplemental materials such as computer presentations, printable games, and more.

The site’s content is produced by teachers with experience teaching in diaspora schools.
The steering committee is composed of educators, authors, and prominent cultural figures. The writers for the site are professionally trained and experienced Jerusalem guides.
